Aircall sends each completed call to Sales Ask through a webhook. Sales Ask files the call as a recording for the rep whose email or phone number matches the Aircall agent.

Before you start

  • An Aircall admin login
  • Call recording turned on in Aircall for the numbers you want to capture
  • Your organization API key

Step 1: Copy your Sales Ask webhook URL

  1. In Sales Ask, go to Settings → Integrations and open Aircall.
  2. Copy the webhook URL and click Enable.
The URL has this format, with your organization API key at the end:

Step 2: Add the webhook in Aircall

  1. In the Aircall Dashboard, go to Integrations → Webhooks.
  2. Click Add webhook, then Install Webhook.
  3. Enter a name, for example Sales Ask, and paste the Sales Ask webhook URL.
  4. All events are turned on by default. Turn off every event except call.ended.
  5. Click Add Webhook.
Sales Ask processes call.ended only. Aircall sends it about 30 seconds after a call ends, once the recording is ready. Sales Ask ignores other events, so leaving them on doesn’t break anything.

Step 3: Check rep matching

For each rep whose calls should appear in Sales Ask, either:
  • their Aircall user email matches their Sales Ask email, or
  • the Phone number on their Sales Ask profile matches their Aircall number, with country code, for example +14165551234.
Each rep must also be an active member of your Sales Ask organization.

Step 4: Test

Have a rep place a short recorded call from Aircall and hang up. Within a few minutes, the call appears in Sales Ask under that rep.

Troubleshooting

If no recording appears, check that:
  • call recording is on in Aircall (calls without a recording are skipped),
  • the rep’s email or phone number matches,
  • the Aircall integration is enabled in Sales Ask, and
  • the webhook URL in Aircall contains your current API key.
