Sales Ask adds a note to the matched Registrant, pulls Registrants and their project appointments, and lets reps create new Registrants.

What Sales Ask uses in Lasso

What you need

  • Lasso Pro API key
Sales Ask needs a Lasso Pro API key. A regular Lasso API key won’t work. Lasso issues one Pro API key per community (project). In Sales Ask you can use:
  • One key for all teams: a single key, if you have one community.
  • Many keys per organization: a named key for each community. Sales Ask reads Registrants and appointments from every community, writes notes back with the key of the community the Registrant belongs to, and reps pick the community by name when they create a Registrant.

Get your Lasso Pro API key

Lasso Pro API keys are issued by Lasso, not created in the Lasso app.
  1. Contact your Lasso account manager or business contact.
  2. Request a Lasso Pro API key for the Sales Ask integration for each community (project) you want to connect. Make sure to ask for a Pro key, not a regular API key.
Request keys early. Lasso provisions them on its side, so allow time for this before your setup date.

Connect in Sales Ask

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations and search for Lasso.
  2. Choose One key for all teams and paste the Pro API key, or choose Many keys per organization and click Add API key for each community, giving each a name your reps will recognize.
  3. Choose a matching method and click Save.
Each rep’s Sales Ask email must match their sales rep email in Lasso.
