Sales Ask posts call notes and AI summaries as a Note on the matched Job, and pulls your Jobs with their statuses and upcoming appointments.
What Sales Ask uses in Zuper
What you need
- API Key
- Company Name (your Zuper login company name)
Get your API key
A Zuper admin should create the key. Zuper keys inherit the permissions of the user who creates them, so a key from a limited user returns only that user’s jobs.
- In Zuper, go to Settings → Developer Hub → API Keys → New API Key.
- Name it
Sales Ask and leave Read-only unchecked.
- Create the key and copy it.
- Note your company login name: the name you enter to sign in, which also appears in your Zuper URL. This is not your company’s display name.
Don’t create a read-only key. Sales Ask writes call notes back to Zuper jobs. A read-only key connects successfully but never writes notes.
Connect in Sales Ask
- Go to Settings → Integrations and search for Zuper.
- Paste the API key and the Company Name.
- Choose a matching method and click Save.
Check the connection
Open a recording and open the CRM job picker. It should list your Zuper jobs.
If the connection fails, check the Company Name. It selects your Zuper region, so a display name or typo fails the connection.
