# Integrations overview

> Connect Sales Ask to your CRM, dialer, and other tools so every call is matched to the right customer record.

Sales Ask connects to CRMs, field service platforms, and dialers. A CRM connection writes call notes and AI summaries back to the matched record and pulls in your customers and appointments. A dialer connection brings your phone calls into Sales Ask as recordings for the right rep.

## Before you start

* You need to be an **organization admin** in Sales Ask to connect an integration.
* Most integrations need an API key or token created by an **admin in the other system**. Each guide lists exactly what to collect.
* Treat every key and token as a password. Share them through a password manager or a one-time link, never over email or chat.

## Where to enter credentials

Unless a guide says otherwise:

1. In Sales Ask, go to **Settings → Integrations**.
2. Search for the integration and open it.
3. Paste the credentials.
4. Choose a matching method (CRMs only).
5. Click **Save**.

## Matching method

Every CRM integration asks you to choose how Sales Ask matches a call to a CRM record:

| Option | How it works |
| - | - |
| **Match by location** | Uses the rep's GPS location at call time to find the matching CRM record. You can also fall back to the closest appointment time when no record is in range. |
| **Match by time** | Uses the rep's scheduled appointment time to find the matching CRM record. Location is never used. |

## Missed recording alerts

For CRMs that supply appointments, Sales Ask can notify a rep when a synced appointment has no recorded call within 3 hours of its start time. Turn this on with the **Missed recording alerts** toggle on the integration's settings page.

Missed recording alerts are available for GoHighLevel, Housecall Pro, HubSpot, JobNimbus, LeadPerfection, Leap, MarketSharp, Monday.com, Odoo, RadiansERP, RoofLink, Salesforce, Salesmate, ServiceMinder, ServiceTitan, Zoho CRM, and Zuper.

## Matching reps to CRM users

Sales Ask matches each rep to their CRM user by email. Make sure every rep's Sales Ask login email is the same as the email on their user record in the CRM, or their appointments and records won't appear.

## If an integration turns itself off

If the CRM repeatedly rejects the credentials, for example because a key was revoked or a plan lost API access, Sales Ask switches the integration off and notifies your organization admins. Fix the credentials in the CRM, then reconnect in **Settings → Integrations**.

## Organization-wide or per-team credentials

Some CRMs let you use one credential for the whole organization or a separate credential for each Sales Ask team, for example when each branch or franchise has its own CRM account. The guide for each of these integrations explains the option.
