# Zuper

> Connect Zuper to post call notes to Jobs and pull upcoming appointments.

Sales Ask posts call notes and AI summaries as a Note on the matched Job, and pulls your Jobs with their statuses and upcoming appointments.

## What Sales Ask uses in Zuper

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |
| - | - |
| Jobs | Reads Jobs to match calls and sync status; finds nearby jobs for Homeplans |
| Job Notes | Adds the summary and recording link as a note on the Job |
| Appointments | Reads upcoming Appointments, or the Job's schedule if Appointments is off |
| Quotes | Reads Quotes and Proposals for deal value, Homeplan pricing, and the approval link |
| Job Categories and Statuses | Reads your Job statuses so you can map them to open, won, or lost |
| Job Gallery | Imports Job photos into Homeplans, skipping internal-only photos |
| Users | Matches reps to active Zuper users by email |

## What you need

* **API Key**
* **Company Name** (your Zuper login company name)

## Get your API key

A Zuper admin should create the key. Zuper keys inherit the permissions of the user who creates them, so a key from a limited user returns only that user's jobs.

1. In Zuper, go to **Settings → Developer Hub → API Keys → New API Key**.
2. Name it `Sales Ask` and leave **Read-only** unchecked.
3. Create the key and copy it.
4. Note your company login name: the name you enter to sign in, which also appears in your Zuper URL. This is not your company's display name.

<Warning>
  Don't create a read-only key. Sales Ask writes call notes back to Zuper jobs. A read-only key connects successfully but never writes notes.
</Warning>

## Connect in Sales Ask

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and search for **Zuper**.
2. Paste the API key and the Company Name.
3. Choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method) and click **Save**.

## Check the connection

Open a recording and open the CRM job picker. It should list your Zuper jobs.

If the connection fails, check the Company Name. It selects your Zuper region, so a display name or typo fails the connection.
