# Monday.com

> Connect Monday.com to post Updates on board items.

Sales Ask posts an Update to the matched item, and pulls items from your boards.

## What Sales Ask uses in Monday.com

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |
| - | - |
| Boards | Reads your boards' columns to find their Date, Timeline, and People columns |
| Items | Reads items by date to match calls and show the rep's appointments |
| Users | Looks up each rep's Monday.com user by email |
| Updates | Adds an Update with the summary and recording link to the matched item |

## What you need

* **API Token**
* **Board IDs**

## Get your credentials

1. In Monday.com, open **Developers → API token**, or **Admin → Connections → Personal API token**.
2. Reveal and copy your personal API token.
3. Open each board Sales Ask should sync with. The number at the end of the URL is the Board ID, for example `1234567890` in `monday.com/boards/1234567890`.

## Connect in Sales Ask

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and search for **Monday.com**.
2. Paste the API token.
3. Enter the Board IDs separated by commas, for example `123456, 789012`.
4. Choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method) and click **Save**.
