# JobNimbus

> Connect JobNimbus to log Activity notes on Jobs and Contacts.

Sales Ask logs an Activity note on the matched Job or Contact, and pulls Jobs, Contacts, and Tasks.

## What Sales Ask uses in JobNimbus

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |

| Jobs | Reads Jobs to match calls and sync value and status; finds nearby completed Jobs for Homeplans |
| Contacts | Reads Contacts to match calls |
| Tasks | Reads the next 7 days of Tasks to show the rep's appointments |
| Activities | Adds a Note activity with the summary to the Job, or the Contact if there's no Job |
| Users | Matches reps to JobNimbus users by email |
| Workflows | Reads your Job workflow statuses so you can map them to open, won, or lost |

## What you need

* **API Key**

## Get your API key

1. Log in to JobNimbus as an admin.
2. Click your profile icon in the top right, then **Settings → API**.
3. Click **New API Key** and enter `Sales Ask` as the description.
4. Set **Access Profile** to **Admin**. The key gets only the permissions of the profile you choose, and a more limited profile can stop Sales Ask from reading Jobs or logging notes.
5. Save, then copy the key.

  JobNimbus shows the key only once. Save it before you close the page.

## Connect in Sales Ask

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and search for **JobNimbus**.
2. Paste the API key.
3. Choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method) and click **Save**.
