# Jobber

> Connect Jobber through the Jobber Marketplace to post notes to Jobs, Quotes, and Clients.

Sales Ask posts notes to the matched Job, Quote, or Client, and pulls Jobs, Quotes, Requests, Clients, and upcoming visits.

## What Sales Ask uses in Jobber

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |

| Clients | Reads Clients to match calls, including dialer calls by phone |
| Requests | Reads recent Requests to match calls; notes go to the Request's Client |
| Quotes | Reads Quotes to match calls |
| Jobs | Reads recent Jobs to match calls |
| Visits | Reads upcoming Visits on Jobs to show the rep's appointments |
| Assessments | Reads upcoming Assessments on Requests to show the rep's appointments |
| Notes | Adds a pinned note with the summary and action items to the Job, Quote, or Client |
| Custom fields | Creates four Sales Ask fields on Clients, Quotes, and Jobs, and fills them after each call |
| Team members | Matches reps to the team members assigned to Visits and Assessments, by email |

## What you need

No credentials. Jobber connects through the Jobber Marketplace.

Use an account that is an admin in both Jobber and Sales Ask.

## Connect Jobber

1. Log in to Jobber as an Admin.
2. Go to the [Jobber Marketplace](https://marketplace.getjobber.com).
3. Search for **Sales Ask** and open the listing.
4. Click **Connect**, review the permissions, and click **Authorize**.
5. Jobber returns you to Sales Ask once the connection is complete.
6. In Sales Ask, go to **Settings → Integrations → Jobber** and choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method).
