# Housecall Pro

> Connect Housecall Pro to post notes to Jobs and Estimates and pull scheduled work.

Sales Ask posts notes to the linked Job or Estimate, and pulls scheduled Jobs and Estimates with their customer details.

## What Sales Ask uses in Housecall Pro

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |
| - | - |
| Jobs | Reads scheduled Jobs to match calls and sync total and status |
| Estimates | Reads scheduled Estimates to match calls and sync total and status |
| Private notes | Adds the summary and recording link as a private note on the Job or Estimate option |

## What you need

* **API Key**

  Housecall Pro API access requires a Housecall Pro MAX plan.

## Get your API key

1. Log in to Housecall Pro as an Admin.
2. Open the Housecall Pro **App Store** and find the **API** app card.
3. Click **View Details → Generate API Key** and name it `Sales Ask`.
4. Copy the key.

## Connect in Sales Ask

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and search for **House Call Pro**.
2. Paste the API key.
3. Choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method) and click **Save**.
