# GoHighLevel

> Connect GoHighLevel to add notes to Contacts and pull Contacts and appointments.

Sales Ask adds a note to the matched Contact, and pulls Contacts, Opportunities, and calendar appointments.

To bring GoHighLevel calls into Sales Ask as recordings, also set up the [GoHighLevel dialer](/integrations/dialers/gohighlevel).

## What Sales Ask uses in GoHighLevel

| Object | How Sales Ask uses it |
| - | - |
| Contacts | Searches Contacts to match calls, including dialer calls by phone, and to email Homeplans |
| Notes | Adds a note with the summary and recording link to the Contact |
| Opportunities | Reads each Contact's latest Opportunity and syncs value and stage; finds nearby won jobs for Homeplans |
| Pipelines | Reads pipeline stages so you can map them to open, won, or lost |
| Calendars | Lists your calendars to find the rep's appointments |
| Appointments | Reads the rep's calendar appointments |
| Users | Matches reps to GoHighLevel users by email |

## What you need

* **Private Integration Token**
* **Location ID** (GoHighLevel calls this the **Sub-Account ID**)

## Get your credentials

1. In GoHighLevel, open **Agency Settings → Private Integrations**.
2. Click **Create New Integration** and name it `Sales Ask`.
3. Select these scopes:

   | Scope | What Sales Ask uses it for |
   | - | - |
   | `contacts.readonly` | Read and search Contacts |
   | `contacts.write` | Add notes to Contacts |
   | `opportunities.readonly` | Read Opportunities and pipelines |
   | `calendars.readonly` | List your calendars |
   | `calendars/events.readonly` | Read calendar appointments |
   | `users.readonly` | Match reps to GoHighLevel users |

   Select only these. Sales Ask doesn't need write access to Opportunities or Calendars.
4. Copy the generated token.
5. Open the sub-account you want to connect and copy its **Sub-Account ID** from the account settings or the browser URL.

<Warning>
  GoHighLevel shows the token only once. Save it before you close the page.
</Warning>

<Note>
  If you don't see **Private Integrations**, ask your GoHighLevel admin to enable it for your user.
</Note>

## Connect in Sales Ask

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** and open **GoHighLevel**.
2. Paste the Private Integration Token and the Sub-Account ID into **Location ID**.
3. Choose a [matching method](/integrations/overview#matching-method) and click **Save**.
